The 3rd & 4th May this  year marks the 46th annual Clydesdale &  Heavy Horse field days at Gatton showgrounds.

As well as Clydesdales, shires, percherons, belgians, gyopsy cobs, friesians and Australian Draughts competing in working classes as well as under saddle, there will be 40 market stalls with a horsey theme.

The Farriers' & Blacksmiths' Assn are hosting the World Cup  heavy horse shoeing competition this year, with 12 teams of three people, forging horse shoes and fitting them - a sight not to be missed.

Liberty demonstrations, vaulting, and numerous talks and displays will be performed, as well as ploughing and the usual ring events
